The Amaryllis - Luxury European Barge Cruise in France

History

The Amaryllis (pronounced in French to rhyme with Fleur de Lys), is the sister ship to the Fleur de Lys, and other of the barges available from Orient-Express. 

Designed in conjunction with La Fluviale, a prominent boat company in St. Jean de Losne, she has been decorated by some of the most respected names in France and Italy.

Amaryllis is a 40 meter Dutch hull, vintage 1962, converted into the most upscale hotel barge throughout 2001 and welcomed her first passengers in Spring 2002.
